Mazda 1300 5 Speed Gearbox Change



4 speeds is enough for most cases except freeways. The car can easily to 100km/h, but the engine revs high. For an ebay bargain of $120 for a reconditioned gearbox delivered, the fifth gear makes freeways a breeze and saves fuel. Check it out below:

* Synchromesh all gears except for reverse 		* 5 spd gearbox from Mazda 323 panelvan, pull type clutch
* Using parts from 4spd box was converted to push type
